Yay!
It was a long and hard push over the last week to get it done, but it's finally done!
And with my thesis submitted, my Masters Program comes to an end (if I pass my thesis ), and I move on to the next chapter of my life! Finding a job!
Now that I've almost caught up with my website in terms of my 1000 Paintings, I thought it might be a good idea to slow down my posting to maybe 3-4 times a week instead. Ideally I would like to be painting everyday (and therefore have something to share every day), but while I'll be spending most of every day on finding a job, and am in a transition period, I probably won't be able to do that yet.
Did you like seeing my posts every day? Would you prefer seeing them less often? What have you been up to over the last week?
Hi there
Over the years I've found that I haven't open very regularly in terms of what's going on in my life, beyond my art creations So I thought this time I'd give you an update on what's happening in real time, rather than my usual post-mortem on the events
Right now I'm working on getting my masters thesis done by 26 June 2020 (that's the official deadline). There's a lot to do on my thesis which means I'll be a bit less active here and everywhere else online while I scramble to finish my thesis on time.
To be quite frank I've already fallen behind on my notifications here (and elsewhere) mostly due to 2 surprisingly popular pieces:
I have no idea why, but both of these got loads of 's
So yeah, this month if I'm taking a bit long to get back to you, sorry I'll try to keep posting everyday while I have something to post, but I expect I will run out before month's end
Oh and thanks again for following along with my paintings and ink drawings I do appreciate your comments and 's
Hope you stay safe
Hi there!
As a quick update, I've been busy with my studies at the University of Amsterdam. Part of that has been me working on my thesis. Now I'm finally done creating the survey for my masters thesis It's about art, emotion and business .
If you have 5-10 minutes to spare, would you mind helping me by filling my survey out

I need a lot of people to respond, so I'll be posting this on all my other social media platforms too I just decided to post it here on deviantArt first, since this is where I grew up
PS Yes the banner is a bit of sneak peak
Hello again e:
In my comeback journal entry, I think I mentioned that I've been quite busy since I was last active in 2018.
After posting a few of the paintings from my "100 Paintings of the Internet" collection, I've decided to share this little music video/compilation of my painting process:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-730q1YTpQ
Admittedly it looks kinda janky in places now , but it was my first attempt at a music video of my art, so I'm still proud of it overall .
While I'm busy juggling my academics, job hunting and trying to figure how I want to stream again, I thought I'd share this video with you .
My plan was, at the time, to be able to make these sort of videos fairly regularly, but they do seem to take quite long to make (this first attempt took over a month), so I guess I'm a bit concerned about how much time they take vs how interesting they might be for people.
If you have a spare 3:50, would you mind taking a quick look?
If it's boring, please tell me (and please tell me where it started getting boring). I'd really appreciate some feedback
Hello
It has been a while since I posted here on deviantArt. I think the last time I posted something was in 2018. A lot has happened since then, including a few more paintings in my 1000 Paintings series.
As a quick update, I'm now studying for my Masters in the Netherlands and I've worked on a few more art things since 2018. For one, I actually got around to starting to stream and Twitch and uploading those streams to my YouTube channel (though I admit I'm still figuring out how to juggle everything ^^;).
For now, I think I'll slowly start to post my digital art paintings here and my Inktober drawings too (Oh yeah, I finally managed to complete a full Inktober month last year too! Again, a lot has happened since 2018).
What have you been up to since 2018? How are you fairing with the global pandemic? Are you ok?
